'Don't forget, extra paper for the copier is in the cabinet in Bill's office.' -'Point taken.' -'Duly noted.' 'You should wear a tie to the office.' 'No, dude, I like to go casual. "Well noted with thanks" is at least a bit more cordial and at least suggests that you care. Subscribe to 1 or more English teaching channels on Youtube: its free and it covers the core. In its most neutral use, duly noted is a way. It does not mean 'it is due to be noticed'. In other words, it means 'properly noted'. "Well noted" sounds similar to "Duly noted", formal and a bit unfriendly, like "I heard what you said (but maybe I can't/won't do anything about it)." I may not even care.
